MiSSION
We aim to develop truly useful and usable Generative AI tools and systems for supporting human experts in knowledge management and decision making.
Approach
We believe in the key role of Generative AI in science, innovation, and operations, where knowledge management and decision making through AI systems can have far-reaching implications for many industries.
To ensure trustworthy use of Generative AI, we see human-AI collaboration as both an indispensable and rightful means, where human experts and AI systems work seamlessly in collaboration for knowledge extraction, integration, refinement, repair, and access. We take human-centered approaches to the development of Generative AI methods and tools, taking into account the variety and dynamicity of human needs, preferences, and values in the context of knowledge management and decision making.
